On December 18, 2023, volunteers distributed 83 sleeping bags to homeless and those without heat and on January 9, 2024, volunteers delivered 402 children's books for distribution to at risk youth.

Charitable Souls Foundation, Inc.
was an idea created by four friends whose commitment to serving their community goes back to their days at Virginia Commonwealth University. Through their involvement with Alpha Phi Omega, the co-educational service fraternity, a friendship and a commitment to serving others were formed. Their dedication urged them to continue this commitment beyond college. On April 11, 2001, the idea was launched and Charitable Souls Foundation, Inc. was born. The organization is unique because it is staffed by seasoned volunteers, keeping overhead costs at a minimum. This allows us to maximize our resources and enables us to have a greater impact on the community with our projects.
